The parade however is not the only entertaiment: there is the Music Track, the The Steelbands and King, Queen & Individual Competitions competing for “Panorama Champion” a contest that people prepare the whole year for. If you have been to any Caribbean or South American Carnival, I don't need to tell you how pulsating, and exhilarating the atmosphere is going to be!

THE TULUM SEA TURTLE FESTIVAL - RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO
17th to 20th october
The Sea Turtle Festival is hosted from the 17th to the 20th of October Tulum Akumal and Xcacel 3 locations in the Riviera Maya a gorgeous part of the Mexican coast facing the Caribbeans. The whole family is encouraged to participate and learn learn about sea turtles by familiarizing themselves with the various organizations that are trying to protect them.

TASTE OF St. BARTS - ST. BARTHELEMY ISLAND
30th to November 7th
St. Barthélemy island in the Caribbeans, or as it's better known by the short St. Barts, is a destination that can be effortlessly described as paradise on earth.
The small French Island is indeed a bijoux! You can drive around the 21 sqKm in less than an hour, but don't think that going through its succulent food is just as quick!
This annual event made in collaboration with St. Barts' tourism board, attracts the excellence of top international chefs, who delight the island with their luscious dishes on the occasion of this gourmet festival.
For example, last year saw the likes of French celebrity chef Martial Enguehard, Michelin-starred Jean-Jacques Noguier, Swedish rising star Daniel Berlin and Amandine Chaignot. Playing backdrop stage to these incredible chefs' crafts were the breathtaking La Case de l’Isle at Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France; Le Taïno at the Christopher Hotel; Le Gaiac Le Toiny Le Sereno.
This year the gourmet festival is held from October 30th to November the 7th and you can expect an even more fabulous line up of talented Chefs, because this year there are SEVEN special Chef guests and they are:
- Jean-Georges Vongerichten - 3-star Michelin Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef - NY, USA
- Thomas Troisgros - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Head Chef at Olympe's
- Daniel Berlin - Chef and owner of restaurant Krog in Skae-Tranas, Sweden
- Amandine Chaignot - Bocuse de Bronze 2012 - Paris, France.
- Hideaki Matsuo - 3-star Michelin - Osaka, Japan -Owner and Master Chef at Kashiwaya
- Jerome Nutile - 2-star Michelin - 2011 Best Craftsman of France - Nimes, France
- Jean-Jacques Noguier - 1-star Michelin - Bossey, France - Chef at La Ferme de l'Hospital
This year, the partner venues where the Chefs dinners will be held are:
Hotel Eden Rock St Barths L' Hôtel Le Toiny, Relais & Châteaux, Cheval Blanc St Barth Isle de France, Hôtel Guanahani & Spa, Hôtel Le Christopher, Le Sereno, Tom Beach Hôtel.
