You will get the recipe for a fun and messy night!!
I have to say I love cocktails and learning to make them has probably been something I have been interested in doing since I was a teenager. I still have a pile of recipes I cut off juice cartons 20 years ago. No kidding! The first one I ever made was Mimosa and since then the passion has always grown and grown.
You may have heard the word mixology used when referring to the making of these drinks and in addition to that the word art. It's called art because making a cocktail is far more than just pouring some ingredients together and shaking them. There are high degrees of preparation, technique, measuring, tasting and creativity that all go into making a cocktail.
So what about the recipe I gave you above? Let's see how I made it:

Ingredient # 1: The Swanky Venue
La Porte des Indes at the Address Hotel in Downtown Dubai, besides being an amazing fine dining restaurant, it has an ample bar and lounge area where you can learn all about cocktails' making. Whilst there aren't currently set packages for it, if you phone them up and request a mixology class they will be more than happy to arrange it for you!
Ingredient #2: Girls
I wasn't alone of course, because just the thought of drinking alone puts me down in the dumps, no I had ingredient No. 2: FIVE people and most of these I knew already, so all was great!
Ingredient #3: The handsome bartender
This came in the image of Marko Aleksic, the beverage manager and head sommelier for La Porte des Indes.
Marko gifted us with a huge dose of knowledge on the history of cocktails, as well as explaining a lot of great techniques on how you should hold items, where to grab a bottle or a glass and so on. I must add that Marko is also extremely patient, because let's face it, you put a group of ladies together and you give them sweet things to drink, things are going to get loud, slow and potentially messy, so having a star mixologist filled with patience like Marko was, it's essential!!

Ingredient #4: Cocktails

You'll watch, the making of classic cocktails like Chocolate Symphony, Mojito, Capirinha, Flaming Lamborghini and many others, learn the difference between spirits, what makes a white or dark rum, how to adjust flavors if you make any mistakes in measuring, but most of all you will get to practice and perfect the technique in making your favorite cocktails and taste all that's made!
The result of all those class ingredients just like those in a cocktail, produces one evening that you will remember for a long time to come.
So there you have it: the recipe for FUN!
